Speaking of socks... the BF washed my "Jitterbugs"... in the washing machine. 'Fire' isn't quite so fiery and 'Popsicle' doesn't look quite so appetising. He will be kept very far away from my 'Lapis' "Jitterbugs" when I get around to making those.

I have to say that I am disappointed to see that the Jitterbug yarn cannot be machine washed without loosing brightness. I always machine wash my Opal socks and they've never come to any harm. Hmm.
Your blue socks are beautiful! Please tell me - what happened to the red jitterbugs? Did they shrink? Felt? Did all the colour wash out or did it just fade? Any chance of a photo? Enquring minds want to know!
Lovely socks. Shame about your jitterbug, my fire ones have washed fine so far no colour loss!! Tulip is gorgeous, I must cast on for mine soon :)
