The Mystery Knit Continues

Any thoughts?

What happens if we add these...?

Clearer?

What about this?

Mystery Knitting

Can you guess what this is?

PS. I finished the scarf. The yarn is actually "Touch Yarns - Handpainted DK". Other than a couple of mistakes, I'm very pleased with this. Got 1 and a 1/2 skeins of this stuff left. I think I'll make a matching pair of gloves... and then some.

Cat Dexterity...

...In which Bandit demonstrates why beer glasses will not be left in anyway unattended in future for fear of creating a pish-head pushie.

1. Stage One - Observation.

Stage 2. Investigation.

(God, the carpet needs vaccuuming! Appropriate use of Photoshop will be required before future publication).

3. Reward.

Baa Baa Baby

Finished this jumper to match the hat on Thursday night. Some frantic sewing up before I dashed out to the pub. (Priorities!)

It's from "Family Circle: Easy Baby Knits" and was a very simple knit - very little shaping involved. The pattern was actually for an Intarsia picture of a sheep but as you can see, I ignored that small detail. Good stashbuster - the whole lot used three balls of blue and one ball of white.

Something Completed

I've rattled this off this week - a little beanie for a friend's baby. (And it's some cunning stashbusting too. "Sirdar Soya - DK").

The pattern is from a book I picked up in 'Borders' closing down sale (sob): "Family Circle: Easy Baby Knits". It's a great book - a mish-mash of clothing patterns and some very funky multi coloured dinosaurs.

Fortunately, I have three friends who are expecting babies this year - including twins - so plenty of excuses to knit them.
